Artist 6: Robin Rhode

Well, we meet another fist thing, the first non American artist we would learn from in this semester. He is Robin Rhode, a South African artist based in Berlin, Germany.

He is also famous for using public area as his “canvas” which could be walls, public basketball courts and so on. Mentioning about drawings on the street walls, you may easily think about Graffiti. However, his art work is more than that. The components of his drawing are some shapes and what is more obvious is that almost every street art work needs the interaction with human beings, which lead to the integrity of his art work.

I do enjoy his art work. Even most of his works composed with some simple shapes, with the interaction with people, his art works become so vivid. All those help to create volume. What’s more, this kind of art work could not only raise its audience’s curiosity and attention, but also better involve its audience, which great help the artiest to deliver his meanings.

An impressive share, I just given this onto a colleague who was performing a bit analysis on this. And he in actual fact bought me breakfast considering that I found it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the treat! But yeah Thnkx for spending the time to talk about this, I feel strongly about it and adore reading more on this topic. If achievable, as you turn out to be expertise, would you mind updating your blog with far more details? It really is extremely valuable for me. Big thumb up for this weblog post!
